This is a set of Steelix-themed sleeves that could be obtained from a 2025 Departure Gift Box which were sold exclusively in China. From what I can gather, there were a few gift boxes themed around specific Pokémon (Kanto starters, Gardevoir, also a Mewtwo box?) but the sleeves were a random pack. Or there may have been a gift box that only had a pack of random sleeves in it. I struggled to really find a ton of info on these, and since I can’t read Chinese, I’m not 100% sure how you could get these.
The sleeves aren’t anything special, it’s the key art for Steelix that gets used on a decent amount of items. Pretty neat to have a full sleeve set for just Steelix though.
Considering these were sold pretty recently, I can still find listings for the full pack of 64 sleeves for only like $15. Wouldn’t be too surprising if these become a bit rarer in the future.
